This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to grant freedom fighter pension to the petitioner. 2.
It is the case of the petitioner that he is a freedom fighter and his applications to consider his request for grant of pension under freedom fighters scheme was not considered and accordingly he sent a letter to this Court and the same has been taken up as writ petition.

Heard Mr.Pavan Reddy, Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation before the District Collector, Hyderabad enclosing the particulars and the District Collector is directed to examine the said representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the said representation. It is needless to observe that since the petitioner is a freedom fighter; his request shall not be rejected on flimsy and technical grounds. No order as to costs.
