THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.8644 of 2008 ORDER:

The petitioner challenges Constitution of Committee through proceedings dated 10-03-2008 as contrary to G.O.Ms.No.350 dated 31-08-2006.

On 19-04-2008, this Court granted stay of Constitution of Committee contrary to G.O.Ms.No.350 dated 31-08-2006. Learned Government Pleader submits that there is change in Constitution of Committees at Village, Mandal and District level either for shortlisting beneficiaries under welfare scheme or monitoring the claim.

Having regard to the submission of Assistant Government Pleader, I am satisfied that the writ petition can be disposed of as no further order is necessary. It is made clear that the respondents are free to follow the extant procedure in Constituting the Committees and the interim order shall not be understood as impeding their discretion.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
