This petition is filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking bail to petitioners/A-2, A-3, A-6 and A-7 in the event of their arrest in connection with Crime No. 62 of 2021 of P.S. IT Corridor, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard Sri S.C. Murali Mohan Rao, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent-State.

Since the punishment prescribed for the offences alleged against petitioners is less than seven years, without going into merits of the matter, respondent - Police are directed to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C and the guidelines formulated by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1 scrupulously. It is needless to say, any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously. 4.
