This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.3 in disqualifying the petitioners from contesting the upcoming Municipal Elections for a period of three years vide proceedings No.709/TSECL/2015(26), dated 03.06.2017 and proceedings No.709/TSEC-L/2016-(15), dated 05.10.2017 under the provisions of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965 and consequently to set aside the aforesaid proceedings. Learned Counsel for petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel for 4th respondent Municipality and Sri P.Sudheer Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Election Commission submits that the lis in the writ petition is squarely covered by order dated 24.06.2019 passed by this Court in WP.No.12541 of 2019.

In view of the aforesaid submission of learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is also allowed in terms of the order dated 24.06.2019 passed by this Court in WP.No.12541 of 2019. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.

Office is to append a copy of the order in WP.No.12541 of 2019, dt.24.06.2019.
