HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT Writ Petition No.25959 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering and disposing of the petitioners representations/proposals dated 05.10.2015 and 04.09.2015 submitted for sanctioning the grant-in-aid to undertake the programme of "Prevention and Curation of Chikungunya by using Ayurvedic medication through swasthya ayush resources" at Anantapuram by the 1st petitioner and "Grameena Swasthya Ayush Resources" at Kurnool by the 2nd respondent, under the 'Scheme of Grant-in-Aid for promotion of Ayush Intervention in Public Health Initiatives', as illegal and violation of Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri B. Narayana Reddy, Assistant Solicitor General of India, for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that similar issue came before this court number of times and has drawn to the attention of this court at Page No.32 of the paper book, wherein, WP No.11135 of 2016 was ordered on 06.04.2016 by this court while directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Keeping in view of the statement made in the above said writ petition and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, I hereby direct the respondents to decide the representations made by the petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision thereon to the

petitioners within one week thereafter.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Needless to state that if the petitioners are aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondents mentioned above, they are at liberty to approach appropriate forum. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand dismissed in consequence.
