Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Since this Court is not adjudicating the matter on merits, it may not be necessary to issue notice to respondents 5 to 23. 3.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"....to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.4 to conduct detailed enquiry and pass necessary orders pursuant to the orders of the Respondent No.3 in ROR Appeal No.E/6275/2015, dated26.09.2015 by fixing time."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to conduct detailed enquiry at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that such a direction may be given provided the order under appeal is not challenged or stayed by higher authority.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to conduct detailed enquiry pursuant to the order of the Respondent No.3 in ROR Appeal No.E/6275/2015, dated 26.09.2015, in accordance with law, if it is not stayed or challenged before the higher authority, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
