HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.22377 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner to the police station and insisting him to settle the dispute with the 5th respondent, in the police station itself.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that basing on the complaint of the petitioner a case in Crime No.413/2018 was registered on 14.05.2018 under Section 448, 427 IPC, 3(1)(r)(s) SC/ST POA Act, 2015;

that during the course of investigation, the ACP, Vanasthalipuram who is the Investigation Officer examined and recorded the statement of the petitioner and her neighbours Adala Lakshman and Shyam; and that the Investigation Officer asked the complainant to produce her caste certificate and other related documents in support of her evidence and that the case is under investigation. It is also stated that there is no collusion between the 4th and 5th respondents; that the 4th respondent has not insisted the petitioner to settle the dispute with the 5th respondent; and that the 5th respondent also lodged one more complaint with the respondent police against the petitioner. It is stated that the respondent No.4 is not the Investigation Officer in Crime No.413/18, under Section 448, 427 IPC R/w. Section 3(1) (r) (s) of

SC/ST POA Act, 2015, as such allegations made against him are not correct and hardly denied.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
