When this matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. The petitioner filed this writ petition challenging his transfer. The petitioner attained the age of superannuation during pendency of this writ petition. In view of the same, the cause in this writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
