Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. During the course of arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informed the Court that in the light of the subsequent writ petition being W.P.No.4198 of 2017 filed by the wife of the petitioner herein, no further cause would survive for adjudication in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
