THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12357 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging registration of FIR No.15 of 2017 against the petitioners for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

A reading of the complaint discloses a prima facie case for registration of crime and, hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation. However, the second respondent shall follow due process of law, including compliance with Section 41-A of Cr.P.C while investigating the crime.
