THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION Nos. 21861 of 2016 and 21936 of 2016 COMMON ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the State of Telangana appearing for respondents 1 to 3. At the request of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is being taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.

2. Grievance of the petitioners is that though they submitted representations dated 21.06.2016, respondent No.3 is not providing police protection to the petitioner for construction of public conveniences at Abids, Opposite to Annapurna Hotel, Nampally Station Road, Hyderabad and Bombay Bakery, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that since it is a sensitive and public issue, no decision is taken by police so far on the representation of the petitioner, and unless and until specific directions are received by police to provide police protection, they cannot consider the request for providing police protection. He further states that no requisition is received by police from municipal authorities to provide police protection.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that an identical issue came up for consideration before this Court

in Writ Petition Nos.2600 of 2015 and 2608 of 2015, wherein, vide Common Order dated 18.02.2015, this Court disposed of the Writ Petitions with the following direction:

"Hence, both the writ petitions are disposed of permitting the petitioners to approach respondent No.3 with all the supporting documents and permissions given by GHMC and file appropriate request before respondent No.3, who shall examine the documents produced by the petitioners and take appropriate decision in the mattes in accordance with law."

Following the same, the Writ Petitions are disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.

4. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
