THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.32646 OF 2013 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: "to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not registering the crime and getting the necessary particulars of 7th respondent VISA and Passport and all other relevant papers which are necessary for investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 09.08.2013 and on the subsequent complaint with available proof on 28.10.
2013 to the respondentpolice despite repeated reminders, as illegal and unlawful and consequently, direct the respondent-police to register the case of impersonation, cheating and criminal conspiracy by obtaining the necessary certified copies of documents from the respondents 3 to 6 and also direct the 1st respondent to take steps and investigate expeditiously on the complaint of the petitioners." During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.08.2013 and 28.10.2013, the second respondent registered a crime vide F.I.R.No.471 of 2013 for the offences under Sections 498-A, 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Since the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed by registering a crime, no further orders are required in the writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. No costs.
