THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.6926 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of respondents 2 to 4 in calling the petitioners to the police station and directing them to settle the dispute with respondents 5 and 6 in respect of the lands in survey Nos.2179, 2226, 2227, 2218/2 and 2703/1, situated Chittecherla Village, Chinnagattigallu Mandal, Chittoor District, even though suits are pending before Junior Civil Judge, Piler.

Learned Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions, stated that the 1st petitioner submitted many representations to the Superintendent of Police, Chittoor, against respondents 5 and 6 in respect of the above matter and in that connection, respondents 3 and 4 called the 1st petitioner as well as respondents 5 and 6 for the purpose of enquiry and necessary action. During enquiry, it was revealed that the 1st petitioner is a petition monger. Since the matter relates to civil in nature, respondents 3 and 4 suggested the 1st petitioner to approach the Civil Court for redressal. Accordingly, a report was submitted to the Superintendent of Police, Chittoor on 18.03.2016. Except calling the petitioners in connection with the said enquiry, respondents 3 and 4 never interfered with the civil disputes. It is also stated that the when the lands of the petitioners are under civil dispute, respondents 3 and 4 are not competent authority to protect the lands of the petitioners.

In view of the submission made by learned Government Pleader on the basis of written instructions, no further orders are necessary in the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
