HONOURABLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.1774 OF 2007 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not depositing the compensation amount as per the award and decree passed in O.P.No.111 of 1996 on the file of I Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District, as arbitrary and illegal.

This writ petition came up for admission on 5-2-2007, interim direction was granted to deposit half of the amount as per the award and decree.

During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition passed on instruction issued by the Revenue Department dated 13-6-2013 stating that the amount of Rs.68,66,085/- has been deposited in the court of the I Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District in Form 'D' through letter dated 24-4-2009. It is also submitted that an appeal in A.S.No.1986 of 2002 was filed against the judgment and decree in O.P.No.111 of 1996 on the file of the I Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District and the same is pending before this Court. In view of the fact that the amount has already been deposited into the court, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
