ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.180 of 2018 of Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 504, 506, 120(b) read with Section 34 IPC and under Section 3(1)(r)(s) of SCs & STs (POA) Act, 2015, against the petitioners/A1 to A3, on various grounds. .

During hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to issue a direction to the Investigating Officer to follow the procedure prescribed in Dr. Subhash Kashinath Mahajan v. The State Of Maharashtra1.

In view of the request made by the learned counsel for petitioners, without touching the merits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to direct the investigating agency to follow the procedure prescribed in Dr. Subhash's case, referred supra, and also the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar2. 3.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
