THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.15555 OF 2016 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.337 of 2014 on the file of Rajendranagar Police Station, Cyberabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 3, 4, 5 & 6 of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act, 1956 (for short 'Act').

During hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner Sri Mohd. Manzoor Nayeem requested this Court to issue a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the case pending before it within three months.

In view of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Rajendranagar to decide the matter, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months, after affording reasonable opportunity to both the parties. With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any shall also stand closed. No costs.
