THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4581 of 2016 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in disqualifying the petitioner from participating in the e-tender-cum-e-auction in respect of Mandaram and Balarajupally Sand Reachers, Rajampet Mandal, YSR Kadapa District as illegal, unjust, arbitrary and violatie of principles of natural justice and consequently and consequently direct the respondents to include the petitioner in the e-tender-cum-e-auction for the above sand reaches and pass such other order or orders as may be just."

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology states that in the light of the changed sand policy of the State, proposed auctions for grant of sand mining rights stand cancelled.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition does not survive for consideration on merits and is accordingly dismissed.
