In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 625 of 2014 on the file of the Court of VII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354 and 323 of IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the case status information dated 07-07-2018 and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 27-11-2017 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 625 of 2014, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
