HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.22407 OF 2018 ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed for inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent in not registering any of the information reports submitted by the petitioners on 13.06.2018.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents.

Though written instructions are produced by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, there is no mention about the complaint made by the petitioner on 13.06.2018, but a reference is made about the complaint registered as Crime No.149/2018 filed by one Gujjarlapudi Ashok.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that the respondents-Police will consider the complaint of the petitioners in terms of judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh (2014) 2 SCC 1.

In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is to take appropriate action on the complaint of the petitioners dated 13.06.2018 as soon as possible in terms of the Judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh (2014) 2 SCC 1.
