Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies for respondents.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a fair price shop dealer of shop No.921, Koyyam Village, Etcherla Mandal, Srikakulam District. While so, the Inspector of Vigilance and Enforcement Department Officials along with the fourth respondent inspected the shop of the petitioner and found that the shop is being run by petitioner's co-daughter-in-law. Some stock was seized and 6-A proceedings were initiated. Ultimately 6-A proceedings ended, by order of the second respondent dated 28.06.2014 confiscating 80% of the stock to the Government. Thereafter a show cause notice was issued on 24.02.2015 directing the petitioner to submit her explanation. She submitted her explanation on 09.03.2015. An enquiry was also conducted on 04.04.2015, and after enquiry, the impugned order is passed by the third respondent on 22.04.2015. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. This Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case, in view of the availability of alternative remedy to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal to the second respondent within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
