The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the second respondent in calling the petitioners to the police station in connection with FIR No.84 of 2019 dated 04.05.2019 of Echoda Police Station, Adilabad District, without the petitioners being arrayed as accused therein, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 20.11.2019, which is placed on record of this Court, would submit that based on the complaint of the third respondent herein, a case was registered in Crime No.84 of 2019 for the offence under Section 420 IPC on the file of Echoda Police Station, on 04.05.2019, and basing on the confession made by accused No.14 therein, petitioners 1 to 3 herein were arrayed as accused Nos.20, 21 and 22 in the said crime. 4.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on behalf of the official respondents, and inasmuch as the petitioners are arrayed as accused in the above crime, the authorities are directed to conduct investigation into the matter in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
