THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.18750 of 2005 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioners in the vacancies of Charge Hand-Electrical (Grade-B) in terms of the Circular Ref.No.CRP/PER/PM/4/ 3369/817 dated 31.05.2005 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioners in the vacancies of the Charge Hand - Electrical (Grade-B) in terms of the Circular Ref No.CRP/PER/PM/4/3369/817 dated 31.05.2005 on par with other candidates and pass such other appropriate orders. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the purpose of filing of the writ petition has become infructuous.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
