HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.14972 of 2007 ORDER:

The Writ Petition is filed questioning notification dated 17.05.2007, under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (the Act), proposing to acquire the petitioner's land admeasuring Ac.2.33 cents in Sy.No.428 situated at Kolamur Village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari District. This Court, while admitting the writ petition, stayed the impugned notification dated 17.05.2007.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition passed on written instructions of the Tahsildar, Undi dated 25.11.2017, wherein it is stated that the lands in R.S.No.2.33 cents in Sy.No.428 of Kolamur Village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari District, are not required as the house site beneficiaries in the Indiramma programme have been accommodated in the government land. In view of the written instructions of the Tahsildar, Undi dated 25.11.2017, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
