Heard learned counsel on either side.

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the final order dated 25.06.2014 passed by the 4th res pondent whereunder the petitioner was terminated from the post of Field Assistant, Kesapuram Gram Panchayat, Kothacheruvu Mandal, Anantapur District, as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioner was appointed as Field Assistant in Kesapuram Gram Panchayat, Anantapur District, under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in 2006. While so, the 4th respondent vide order dated 25.06.2014 terminated the petitioner, alleging certain irregularities. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the impugned order was passed without following the prescribed procedure. He further submits that the appeal dated 27.08.2014 filed by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent is still pending.

Under these circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
