CONTEMPT CASE No.35 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Court passed orders in W.P.No.9982 of 2015 dated 18.08.2015 directing the respondents to pass orders in the representation submitted by the petitioner on 28.07.2014.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader representing Municipal Administration produced orders of the Government in G.O.Ms.No.140, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (H1) Department, dated 02.06.2016 and consequential orders of the Government in Memo No.56249/H1/2015, dated 02.06.2016 and submits that the order of the Court is complied with.

3. Since direction of this Court is to pass orders only on the representation of the petitioner and Government has already passed the orders on the said representation, there is no justification to initiate the contempt proceedings against the respondents. Contempt Case is accordingly closed. However, it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as warranted by law if the petitioner is not satisfied with the orders of the Government referred to above. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
