THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18314 of 2005 ORDER:
By way of this writ petition, the petitioner sought a direction to the respondent - Institution to promote her as a Record Assistant. By order dated 19.08.2005, this Court directed the respondent - Institution to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2005.
It is now stated that pursuant to the aforesaid interim order, the petitioner was temporarily appointed as a Record Assistant in the respondent - Institution on 03.05.2006.
Sri G. Anandam, learned standing counsel for the respondent - Institution, states that having regard to the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner's services have not been regularised. As the relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition has already been granted, no issue survives for consideration. The writ petition is accordingly closed. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance in relation to her promotion, it shall be open to her to seek redressal of the same by way of independent proceedings in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
