HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8001 OF 2003 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that in view of the passage of time, this writ petition need not be considered and decided on merits and the petitioner may be given liberty to apply for customs private bonded warehouse licence, with direction to the concerned authority to decide the same on merits in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to apply for fresh customs private bonded warehouse licence to the concerned authority. If the petitioner makes any such application, we hope and trust that the concerned authority shall deal with the same on merits in accordance with law and uninfluenced by the order impugned in this writ petition. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. No costs.
