This contempt case is filed under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, alleging willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed on 02-03-2016 in W.P.No.5001 of 2016.

Heard.

By way of an order, dated 02-03-2016 this Court disposed of the writ petition directing the 1st respondent - State Government to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 19-11-2014.

A counter-affidavit is filed by the respondents enclosing a copy of the letter dated 16-08-2016.

By way of the said letter, the respondents herein passed the orders pursuant to the above said orders of this Court. Therefore, nothing survives in the present Contempt Case. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________ A.V.
