ORDER

The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the Sub-Inspector of Police, Badvel Urban, Y.S.R.Kadapa District, the 4th respondent, was calling them to the police station everyday and making them sit till night in the guise of investigation in Cr.No.59 of 2012 on the file of Badvel Urban Police Station.

2. Relying on the written instructions dated 30.06.2015 received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Badvel Urban Police Station, Kadapa District, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that Cr.No.59 of 2012 was registered under Sections 323, 354, 447 and 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC on the file of Badvel Urban Police Station. Upon due investigation, a charge sheet was laid before the competent criminal Court and the matter is stated to be pending trial in Sessions Case No.296 of 2012.

3. In the light of the aforesaid developments, it is clear that the grievance of the petitioners which was in relation to the ongoing investigation in Cr.No.59 of 2012 on the file of Badvel Urban Police Station can no longer survive at this stage.

4. The Writ Petition has therefore become infructuous and is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
