THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NO.22450 OF 2018

O R D E R

Petitioner lodged the report and the same was registered as Crime No.37 of 2018 on the file of Medikonduru Police Station, Guntur Urban District. Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent No.3 - Station House Officer, in conducting investigation in the said crime, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Inspector of Police, Medikondur Police Station, stating that the above said crime was investigated into and the allegations are found to be false and therefore, letter was addressed to the Sub Divisional Police to issue proceedings referring the case as 'false'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seriously disputing the written instructions produced by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, submitted that there is life threat to the petitioner and her family members and that the 3rd respondent has not taken any action. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the 3rd respondent is directed to follow the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in the decision reported in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, and take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. ----------------------------------------- A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J DATE:03-7-2018 AVS 1 (2014)2 SCC 1
