THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.42476 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to complete the investigation in Crime No.39 of 2015 on the file of Lepakshi Police Station, Lepakshi, Anantapur District including arrest of respondent Nos.5 and 6.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that basing on the complaint lodged by him against respondent Nos.5 and 6, respondent No.4 registered the aforementioned crime for the offences under Sections 448 and 323 read with 34 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, but respondent Nos.2 to 4 are not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, respondent Nos.2 to 4 are directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.39 of 2015 on the file of Lepakshi Police Station, Lepakshi, Anantapur District as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
