HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.25675 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed complaining the action of respondent Nos.3 to 6 in making Telugu Film, by name "Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu" supposed to be released contains several scenes, which would be offending privacy and personality of the petitioner and would tarnish his image in public. The petitioner is a world renowned Religious thinker and preacher, any adverse comments made and derogatory scenes projected would tarnish his image. The petitioner claims to have filed complaint dt.30.10.2019 to the Regional Officer, Central Board of Film Certification, Hyderabad Regional Office. Alleging that the complaint filed by the petitioner is not looked into, whereas the Censor Board is in the process of granting certificate for exhibition/screening of the movie and in such an event, grave prejudice would be caused to the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.

When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Assistant Solicitor General for respondent Nos.1 and 2; as well as the learned counsel representing respondent Nos.3 to 6 submits that respondent No.3, who is the producer of the movie, filed W.P.No.26439 of 2019 alleging that the Censor Board is not viewing the movie and is not issuing the certificate for screening/exhibition of the movie causing hardship and suffering to the entire Unit. A Public Interest

Litigation (PIL) No.165 of 2019 is also filed alleging that the Censor Board is going to grant Certificate of Viewership. The Court is informed that W.P.No.26439 of 2019 and W.P(PIL).No.165 of 2019 came up for hearing before a Division Bench of this Court and the Hon'ble Division Bench passed order dt.28.11.2019 in W.P.No.26439 of 2019 directing the Regional Censor Board to consider all the objections filed against the above said movie and also view the movie and the producer shall comply with all the suggestions that may be made by the Censor Board and on due compliance of the suggestions only, a decision may be made. In view of the order dt.28.11.2019 passed in W.P.No.26439 of 2019, PIL.No.165 of 2019 is closed as no orders are necessary. 3.

In view of the order dt.28.11.2019 passed by the Division Bench in W.P.No.26439 of 2019, learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the present writ petition may also be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the objections filed by the petitioner on 30.10.2019 in accordance with the directions issued by the Division Bench of this Court vide order dt.28.11.2019 in W.P.No.26439 of 2019.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to examine the objections filed by the petitioner on 30.10.2019 while complying with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court vide order dt.28.11.2019 in W.P.No.26439 of 2019 before taking a final decision. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
