None appears for the petitioner.

Heard learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise for the respondents.

Writ petition was admitted in 2010. No interim order was passed either at that stage or thereafter. That seems to be the reason why the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting this petition further and hence, nobody is coming forward to work it out on merits. In the circumstances, I am constrained to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.

Order accordingly.
