THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 6093 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No. 3-Station House Officer, Uppal Police Station in not registering a crime in spite of the complaint, dated 30.01.2017, lodged by the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that Crime No.197 of 2017 was registered by respondent No.3 for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and investigation is under progress.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
