THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4257 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the inaction on the part of the official respondents in providing police protection to petitioner's land i.e. land admeasuring Ac.0-2.25 cents (plot No.184) in survey Nos.322, 318 and 317 situated in Hamali Colony, Anantapur Village and Mandal, Anantapur District, though a decree was granted in OP No.229/2009 by the District Judge under Land Grabbing Prohibition Act, 1982, Ananatapur, in favour of the petitioner and possession has been delivered to him in EP No.19/2012 on 11.09.2012, as illegal and arbitrary.

No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 4. The request of the petitioner in this writ petition is for providing police protection to his land. As the writ petition was filed in the year 2013, having regard to the nature of relief sought for and in the absence of any interim orders in favour of the petitioner, the question of granting any relief at this point of time would not arise. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if the situation so desires, the petitioner is always at liberty to make a fresh petition for redressal of his grievance.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
