HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.25695 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL) :
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of the official respondents in registering a crime pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 04.10.2019 as being illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard Sri V.R.N. Prashanth (M/s. Indus Law Firm), learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, and perused the material on record.
3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 25.11.2019, a copy of which is placed on record, submits that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, an entry was made in the General Diary and after the preliminary enquiry, registered a case in Crime No.250 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 408, 20, 120(B) read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the file of respondent No.3 on 22.11.2019.
4. In view of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home made on behalf of respondent No.3, this Court is of the view that grievance of the petitioner stands
redressed and, therefore, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition.
5. Therefore, recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
