O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the police authorities in not

providing protection to the petitioners in the context of the illegal interference by respondents 5 and 6 in their matrimonial life. At the time notice was ordered in this writ petition on 14.02.2011, this Court left it open to the petitioners to approach the police if any law and order problem arose and directed the police authorities to give all possible protection to them. While so, the Station House Officer, Kushaiguda Police Station, Cyberabad, addressed written instructions to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home stating that the petitioners did not approach the police station asking for police protection.

In the light of the aforestated facts, it is clear that the cause raised in this writ petition no longer survives for consideration. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
