The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the second respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station in connection with FIR No.84 of 2019 dated 04.05.2019 of Echoda Police Station, Adilabad District, without the petitioner being arrayed as accused therein, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint of the third respondent herein, a case was registered in Crime No.84 of 2019 for the offence under Section 420 IPC on the file of Echoda Police Station, on 04.05.2019, and basing on the confession made by accused No.14 therein, petitioner herein was arrayed as accused No.23 in the said crime. 4.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on behalf of the official respondents, and inasmuch as the petitioner is arrayed as accused in the above crime, the authorities are directed to conduct investigation into the matter in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
