HCJ & AAR, J W.P. No. 25736 of 2019 Dt: 22-11-2019 Order: (per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) The petitioner has challenged the order dated 03-06-2019, passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum-I, Hyderabad (for short 'the District Forum'), whereby the learned District Forum has dismissed the complaint, namely C.C. SR. No. 189 of 2019, filed by the petitioner, on the ground of maintainability. Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, provides an efficacious alternative remedy to the petitioner. As per the said proviso, any person aggrieved by the order passed by the District Forum is free to file an appeal before the State Commission.

Since an efficacious alternative remedy does exist, this writ petition is not maintainable. It is, hereby, dismissed as not maintainable.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, stand disposed of as infructuous.
