This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.461 of 2013, against the petitioners, who are A1 to A4, on the file of the Station House Officer, Jadcherla Police Station, Mahabubnagar District. The offences alleged are under Sections 120-B, 196, 209, 417 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Jadcherla Police Station, Mahabubnagar District dated 07.09.2018 stating that the case is going to be referred as 'Civil in nature' as per the proceedings of the SDPO, Mahabubnagar dated 1812.2017.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J September 14, 2018 DSK
