This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioners-accused Nos. 1 to 16 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in P.R.C.No. 28 of 2016 pending on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate of I Class at Korutla, Jagtial District.

As the matter is now in the stage of committal to the Sessions Court, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings at this stage. However, the liberty is given to the petitioners-accused Nos. 1 to 16 to appear before the Sessions Court after the sessions case is registered and file an application seeking their discharge taking all the pleas that are legally available to them, in which case the concerned Sessions Court shall pass an appropriate order on merits at the earliest. 3.

The criminal petition is disposed of accordingly. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
