This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: "to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the Proc.No.C/1769/2012 dt....04.2012 of the 1st respondent, and quash the same, after declaring the same as without jurisdiction, arbitrary, illegal, violative of principles of natural justice, contrary to provisions of R.O.R.Act, 1971, in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." Since this writ petition is filed against the interim order granted by the 1st respondent pending appeal under Section 55 of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case and this Court on 12.04.2012 directed the parties to maintain status quo with regard to the entries in the revenue records.

Learned counsel for respondents 3 and 4 submits that since the main appeal is pending before the 1st respondent, the contentions raised by both sides can be decided by the appellant Authority. The appellant authority has to take into account the question of limitation, which is raised by the petitioner and decide the same. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner against the impugned order within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as per law. Status quo granted on
