HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8673 & 8674 of 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.7519 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :
This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/A.1 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.142 of 2015 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Mahila Court), Nampally, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
2. Pending the criminal petition, the petitioner filed Crl.M.P.Nos.8673 and 8674 of 2015 along with affidavit of the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant and joint memo stating that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and, therefore, to accord permission to compound the above offences.
3. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the petitioner/A.1.
4. Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8673 and 8674 of 2015 is allowed. Consequently, the criminal petition is allowed
and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.142 of 2015 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Mahila Court), Nampally, Hyderabad, are quashed against the petitioner/A.1.
The bail bonds of the petitioner/A.1, if any, shall stand cancelled.
5. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
