HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8327 of 2011 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an order/direction or any appropriate writ more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein in killing the petitioner's husband Mapada Sreenu as illegal, unjust, contrary to Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1st respondent herein to cause judicial enquiry into the incident and take action against the responsible officers as per law and further direct the 1st respondent to pay an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- as compensation."
During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the light of the statements made in the counter affidavit regarding payment of Rs.50,000/- under Apathbandu Scheme and Rs.3,50,000/- towards ex-gratia, the petitioner is satisfied and no further orders are required in the present writ petition.
Taking into consideration the above said statement, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
