THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 18555 OF 2004 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the notification issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in G.O.Ms.No. 25, dated 30.04.2004 as contrary to the A.P. Urban (Development) Act, 1975, as illegal and arbitrary. The Writ Petition was admitted vide order dated 12.10.2004. Thereafter, the matter underwent several adjournments. On 14.03.2018, since there was no representation for the petitioner, the Writ Petition was directed to be listed on 16.03.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'. When it was taken up on 26.06.2018, again, there was no representation, so also on 05.12.2018. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In these circumstances, there is no other alternative for this Court except to presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the Writ Petition, hence, it is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
