HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 13230 OF 2017 ORDER:

After rendering more than 25 years of service as Driver, petitioner retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.3.2016. Petitioner claims that he is entitled to monthly pension. He has paid requisite amounts and requests to sanction pension, but so far it is not paid and no reasons are assigned.

The averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition are vague. No details are furnished on his right to claim monthly pension. His representation dated 19.9.2016 is under Right to Information Act, seeking information on status of loan granted to some other employee where he stood as guarantor.

Having regard to the facts noted above, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to petitioner to make a representation ventilating his grievance. As and when such a representation is made, the Secretary, 1st respondent shall examine the claim and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of such decision and communicate the same to petitioner. Such decision shall be taken and communicated to petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
