HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 9598 OF 2016 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents are not mutating the names of the petitioners in the revenue records inspite of letter dated 23.12.2015 addressed by the third respondent to the 4th respondent to take action on the petitioners' representation dated 2.11.2015.
Government Pleader for Revenue states that if the petitioners make an application to the 4th respondent in Form 6-A prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act') with supporting documents, the 4th respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to make an application to the 4th respondent in form 6-A prescribed under the Act along with supporting documents and if such an application is made by the petitioners, the 4th respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said application. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
