OFFICE NOTE 02.09.2022 KS,J I.A.No.01 of 2022 This is an application filed by the petitioner/Accused No.1 seeking extension of time for the petitioner to appear before the concerned police as directed by this Court by order dated 23.08.2022 in Crl.Petition No.7424 of 2022. Learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.1 submits that the petitioner/Accused No.1 filed anticipatory bail application before this Court and this Hon'ble Court disposed off the same on 23.08.2022 directing the police follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and also directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned police on 29.08.2022. He further submits that on 12.08.2022 the petitioner got severe injury on his left leg, as such, he could not appear before the concerned police on 29.08.2022 as directed by this Court and seeking extension of time.

Though the petitioner filed anticipatory bail this Court directed the police to conduct investigation in accordance with Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and also directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned police on 29.08.2022 for the purpose of investigation, as such, this Court finds no grounds to allow this application.

Accordingly, this IA is dismissed.
