2016-04-07M.S.Ramachandra Rao2 pages

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.11451 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

2.

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner had approached 4th respondent for mutation of his name in the revenue records in respect of the subject property but 4th respondent is not disposing of the same even though his application has been made in the year 2014. It is not disputed that 4th respondent had addressed a letter to 2nd respondent on 11-12-2014 seeking more time to complete the process as per the request of the petitioner vide Reference No.B/1795/2014.

3. Although fifteen months have elapsed since then nothing has been done by 4th respondent. Therefore, 4th respondent shall complete the process which he has commenced to consider mutating the name of the petitioner in the revenue records within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order positively and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

5.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
