JUSTI CE B.SI VA SANKARA RAO I .A.NO.2 OF 2018 I N C.C.NO.657 OF 2016, I .A.NO.2 OF 2018 I N C.C.NO.2499 OF 2016 AND CONTEMPT CASE NOS.657 AND 2499 OF 2016 C O M M O N O R D E R (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) These contempt cases were instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 29.02.2016 passed by this Court in W.A.M.P.No.274 of 2016 in W.A.No.98 of 2016.
Respondents 2 and 3 in C.C.No.657 of 2016 are present in person. I.A.No.2 of 2018 was filed by respondent 1 in C.C.No.657 of 2016 to dispense with his presence.
Respondent 2 in C.C.No.2499 of 2016 is present in person. I.A.No.2 of 2018 was filed by respondent 1 in C.C.No.2499 of 2016 to dispense with his presence. In so far as respondent No.3 in C.C.No.2499 of 2016 is concerned, an affidavit has been filed stating to the effect that there is no such officer by name Ravikanth who worked as District Project Director at Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Medak District.
Sri V.Shashishekar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners in C.C.No.657 of 2016, states that the order dated 29.02.2016, alleged disobedience to which led to filing of these contempt cases, has been complied with.
An order to this effect was passed in both the contempt cases on 19.01.2018. The same is the import of para 10 of the affidavits filed in support of I.A.Nos.2 of 2018 in both the contempt cases. There is no representation for Sri Prabhakar Chikkudu, learned counsel for the petitioners in C.C.No.2499 of 2016.
In that view of the matter, the contempt cases are closed. I.A.No.2 of 2018 in C.C.No.657 of 2016 and I.A.No.2 of 2018 in C.C.2499 of 2016 are ordered dispensing with the presence of respondent 1 therein.
No order as to costs.
